Job Summary
The Electromedical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of a wide range of electromedical equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic principles, control systems, medical devices, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or closely related engineering field.
Experience
5 years of experience in the design, development, maintenance and repair of electromedical machinery.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electromedical equipment, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and health monitoring devices to enhance clinical performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, encompassing technical staff, physicians, and clinical professionals to understand patient needs and create innovative solutions.
- Support technical staff and assist clinical professionals with the proper use of equipment’s to improve patient outcomes.
- Troubleshooting and resolve technical issues in clinical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, calibrate devices, and ensure electrical safety standard for smooth operations.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design verification, testing, and risk assessment to certify equipment’s protection and reliability.
- Build and maintain equipment specifications, user manuals, technical reports.
- Adherence with regulatory authority and industry standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
Requirements
- Proficiency in electrical circuit designs, analog and digital control systems, X-ray machines, and power protection systems.
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or ProE
- Familiar with electromedical devices including software and hardware installations, technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Well-versed in regulatory (FDA) affairs, ISO 13485, and ethical standards
- Solution-oriented, innovative, and critical thinkers
- Exceptional written and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a dynamic environment.
